European stocks dropped as investors
awaited today’s American payrolls report and elections in France, Greece,
Italy and Germany
Gold futures were lower in European
trade on Friday.
The British Pound was higher against
the U.S. Dollar on Friday after the release of U.K. data on Halifax House Price
Index.
