Gold recovered on week Dollar and worries about the Greece crisis
Feb 16 2015
Gold extended gains to a third session on Monday, supported by increasing demand of yellow metal as a safe-haven asset amid the retreat of the U.S dollar and increasing worries about the result of negotiations regarding Greece's future in the euro zone.
Spot gold edged up above $1232 per ounce after extending gains in the previous session.
The traders are waiting for the meeting of euro zone finance ministers in Brussels due today later to find common agreement with the Greece new government, which was elected on hopes to end the imposed austerity measures of the Greek international bailouts.
